Meet Kanye’s latest draft pick CyHi da Prince (pronounced sigh-hi). After first listen to his new mixtape, one thing is obvious: this guy has a knack for rhyming. That being said, he still has some growing to do before he’ll be able to reach his tipping point in the rap game. In particular, the one thing that stuck out to me was that most of the hooks on this tape were kinda weak. CyHi needs to step up his chorus game a little, but that should come easily enough, considering the talent he’ll be surrounded with at GOOD Music. Don’t let these thoughts discourage you from downloading, there are lots of well versed raps on here and definitely some sick production too.
