Theophilus London – new mixtape – Paris 96
I’m blow away by the mixtape; it is phenomenal. I’ve been down with Theophilus London for a short while, but after hearing Paris 96, I think I would list him as one of my favorite up and coming artists. Paris 96 is not full of new tracks, but rather, a compilation of songs that Theo has put out with Jesse Boykins III. These two are a dynamic duo of musical talent, with Theo providing the raps and hip-hop, and Jesse crooning from the depths of his soul.
That being said, it is really hard to put this tape into a box of genre, its a little hip-hop/electro/sould/pop. This is one of the best mixtapes I’ve heard all year, and with it’s excellent musical composition and mass appeal, I’m sure you can find something on here you’ll like. Download and enjoy.
