Jay-Z – American Gangster
Thank God this was his follow-up to Kingdom Come. Kingdom Come was Jay’s gay/yuppie/coldplay album, and this is him getting back to his roots. Personally I think this was the best album of 2007, so if you missed it then, I’m sure you’re going to love it now. Jay stayed true to the formula of greatness: drugs, parties, and production. The beats on here are soo sick, with samples from the 70′s and Pharrell’s beats from the year 3000, this is certainly one of the best rap albums to come out in the past 5 years. Every song on this album is great so I’m not going to rate any.
