Upon exiting a cruise ship in Miami earlier today, Big Boi was apprehended by Customs Agents for possession of MDMA powder, Ectasy, and Viagra. He had been on vacation in Puerto Rico. Big Boi is being held on $16,000 bond at the Pre-Trial Detention Center in Miami. Possession of all 3 controlled substances are considered felonies.

His lawyer, Daniel Kane, released this statement earlier today: “While BIG BOI was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage. I am confident when the entire facts are aired BIG BOI will be completely exonerated.”

Here is the list of the XXL Freshmen class of 2011. This year’s list features 11 MC’s as opposed to the usual 10. The up and coming MC’s that made the list are: Lil B, Meek Mill, Big K.R.I.T., CyHi the Prynce, Lil Twist, YG, Kendrick Lamar, Diggy Simmons, Yelawolf, Fred the Godson, and Mac Miller. I definitely would have put Chip tha Ripper on this list.

Cudder just started up a new twitter account @WizardCud and got right to making some big announcements. He will be dropping a Rock Album which he refers to as the Wizard Album, and a rap mixtape called A Man Named Scott, which he both claims will be out this summer. Read his tweets after the break.

An Atlanta Judge has just revoked T.I.’s probation and is sentencing him to 11 more months in prison following his arrest in LA on September 1st. Apparently the judge was not very happy to hear that while still on probation, LAPD found T.I. with E-pills, Opiates in his system, and other felons in his car, all of which are violations of his parole. Whoops.

Kanye just tweeted about a new 5-song album by him and Jay called Watch The Throne. This should be interesting…. stay posted for more Kanye and Hov soon.

We’re not sure what the logic is behind this, but it may be a bit of a stretch to expect fans to buy all three albums at once. It certainly could help cement international awareness of Cudi and Big Sean’s close relationship with Kanye if they play it right, and start promoting together as a trio. All three albums are dropping on the GOOD Music label, and only time will tell if each artist will stick to the September 14th release date.

Yesterday at Lil Wayne’s hearing where he was expected to be taken to prison, Weezy’s lawyer asked for a postponement due to the fact that Dr. Carter needs some dental surgery to be finished before heading to the pen. Wayne’s next hearing is now scheduled for March 2nd, where he is expected to start his 8 month to 1 year punishment for felony gun posession.
