Spitta aka Curren$y released a new mixtape today with DJ Drama. I’m pretty sure the last time these two teamed up on a mixtape was for Dedication 2, which, in my opinion, is the greatest mixtape the world has ever seen. Needless to say, I have big expectations for Verde Terrace. Here’s to hoping that Spitta gets a little gangsta on this tape.

Curren$y and the Jets came through LA as part of the Jet Life Tour, and I was front and center as usual to capture it all. This is the second time I’ve seen Spitta in LA in the past 6 months and he puts on a great show. Trademark and Roddy need to work on their stage presence and energy a little more though, instead of just standing there being super stoned, but they are great rappers and I look forward to hearing more of their music.
